According to data from Trust & Will's 2025 estate planning report, while 83% of Americans recognize the importance of estate planning, only 31% actually have a will, leaving families vulnerable to legal complications and financial stress.
The one-hour webinar, scheduled for August 27 at 2 pm ET, will feature nationally recognized estate planning professionals who will debunk common myths and provide practical guidance for achieving financial stability and long-term planning. Participants will learn how to create estate plans that reflect personal values while avoiding costly mistakes that could burden their loved ones.
Lee Shapiro, volunteer chair of the American Heart Association, emphasized that estate planning ensures individuals' voices are heard, supports loved ones, and allows for leaving a legacy that reflects personal values.
