Angkor Resources has completed a ground magnetic survey at its Andong Bor license in Cambodia, revealing significant potential for copper and gold mineralization. The survey identified multiple high-priority target zones that could indicate substantial mineral deposits.

Mineral exploration company Angkor Resources has announced promising results from a ground magnetic survey conducted at its Andong Bor copper-gold license in Cambodia, potentially signaling substantial mineral resources in the region.
The technical team's comprehensive survey, completed in early 2025, identified several key features that correlate with existing geochemical anomalies. By cross-referencing magnetic data with previous core logging, researchers discovered that mineralized zones can be effectively located through significant magnetic anomalies.
Dennis Ouellette, Vice President of Exploration, characterized the magnetic data as exceptional, noting a precise match with geochemical data. The survey revealed multiple exploration zones with varying characteristics, with Zone C emerging as the highest priority target for potential drilling efforts.
The survey involved 49 survey lines spanning between 2,200 and 2,700 meters, spaced 100 meters apart. Two-dimensional models suggest magnetic features ranging from 300 to 500 meters in area, with depths between 100 and 150 meters in the primary Zone C.
Different exploration zones demonstrated distinct magnetic signatures. Zone C, which includes previously drilled holes, exhibited a ring-like structure with lower magnetic intensity in its center. Adjacent zones A1 and A2 showed more complex magnetic responses, characterized by sharper features and potential shallow mineralization.
The magnetic survey provides crucial insights for future exploration strategies. By identifying areas with coincident magnetic and geochemical signatures, Angkor Resources can more precisely target potential mineralization, potentially reducing exploration costs and increasing the efficiency of future drilling operations.
Angkor holds a 20% carried interest in the license, with its Canadian partner CanBodia Copper Corp. funding advancement activities. The company remains committed to exploring the potential for a significant copper-gold discovery in the region.
While additional analysis is pending, the current magnetic survey results represent a promising step toward understanding the mineral potential of the Andong Bor license. The data suggests multiple areas of interest that warrant further investigation and potentially substantive mineral resources.
