Atlanta Community Food Bank Welcomes New 2025 Board Members

The Atlanta Community Food Bank has announced the appointment of new members to its 2025 Board of Directors and Advisory Board, marking a significant step in its ongoing efforts to address food insecurity in the region. Kyle Waide, President & CEO of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, highlighted the importance of these appointments, noting the board's vital role in guiding the organization's mission to support food-insecure individuals and families.

Althea Broughton, from Arnall Golden Gregory's Real Estate Practice Group, will serve as the Chair of the Board of Directors, with new members including Sarah Brown, Stewart Gantt, Mark Hoffman, Satya Kama, and Kendi O'Mard, each bringing unique expertise to the table. The Advisory Board, chaired by Amir Ghoddousi, President of ASK Logistics Group, welcomes Brittanie Browning, Somia Farid Silber, and Chris McCollum as new members.

These appointments come at a critical time as the Atlanta Community Food Bank continues to expand its reach and impact, serving 29 counties across metro Atlanta and North Georgia. The organization's work is more important than ever, with the recent milestone of distributing its one billionth meal in 2023 underscoring the scale of need and the community's collective effort to meet it.
