Author Loxley Browne Offers Transformative STEM Educational Experience to Schools Near Birmingham

Author and STEM education advocate Loxley Browne is offering a unique opportunity for schools to enhance student engagement with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through an immersive educational experience. Her initiative will bring an interactive, inspirational day-long program to seven schools in the Birmingham, Alabama region, aiming to spark curiosity and potential career interest among students.

The comprehensive program, valued at $2,000, includes a full-day visit from Browne, 20 complimentary books from her Charms Book Series, and a dynamic presentation designed to make STEM subjects compelling and accessible. Schools interested in participating must meet specific criteria, including being located within three hours of Birmingham and serving a significant population of lower-income students.

To be considered, schools must demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to the program by completing a nomination form. The selection process emphasizes schools that can showcase how Browne's visit will meaningfully impact student learning and inspiration. With a minimum attendance requirement of 50 students, the program seeks to create a broad, inclusive educational experience.

The initiative targets schools that may have limited resources for innovative educational programming, providing an opportunity for students to interact directly with an author who bridges storytelling and scientific exploration.
