Avery Point, a retirement community managed by Erickson Senior Living in Short Pump, Va., is addressing the increasing demand for maintenance-free retirement living by expanding its selection of residences and amenities, with new buildings set to open in 2025. The community recently introduced Preston Woods and plans to open Harden Creek, adding 201 homes with one or two-bedroom designs. These residences are connected to the community's amenities via climate-controlled walkways, ensuring easy access to facilities like the Life Enrichment Center and new dining options such as Cork and Fork and The Cardinal.

Executive Director Bryan Bee highlighted the community's popularity and the opportunity it presents for retirees seeking an active, affordable lifestyle. Sales Director Kailey Viray noted the quick sell-out rate of residence buildings, advising potential residents to act promptly. Since its opening in 2022, Avery Point has become a leading senior living community, offering a range of amenities from a swimming pool to an on-site medical center, all designed to enhance residents' quality of life.
