Dining experiences underwent substantial transformation with the introduction of Markham's, a new no-reservation dining venue featuring smaller plates and multiple courses. This innovation responds directly to resident requests for smaller portion options while encouraging spontaneous social interactions through bar seating that has proven particularly popular. The redesign also included Millstone restaurant, creating more intimate dining spaces that facilitate neighborly gatherings and regular social events.

Common areas were reimagined to support various social activities, including the newly added Longwood Lounge on the second floor with wet bar facilities and personal storage for residents' beverages. Additional spaces feature television viewing areas, puzzle stations, and piano entertainment, creating multiple opportunities for casual social interaction throughout the day and evening. The new terrace overlooking the community's landscaped grounds, complete with billiards tables, provides yet another venue for resident gatherings and recreational activities.

Beyond resident amenities, the renovation also addressed staff needs with redesigned workspaces for the communications team, enhanced facilities for security dispatch, and significant improvements to the medical center. Couture stressed that employee engagement was equally important, with changes implemented based on staff requests to improve their working environment and overall job satisfaction.
