Father-Daughter Team Completes Historic Ski Tour of Alberta's 39 Ski Resorts

A father-daughter duo has completed an extraordinary skiing adventure across Alberta, visiting and skiing at all 39 lift-serviced ski areas in the province within an impressive 34-day timeframe. Greg Scott and his daughter Hali have successfully concluded their ambitious journey, dubbed 'The Skadi Tour', named after the Norse mythology goddess of snow, skiing, and mountains.

The tour, which began in late December, saw the pair traversing 8,300 kilometers across Alberta's diverse landscape. From Hidden Valley in the Cypress Hills to Vista Ridge in Fort McMurray, and from Castle Mountain Resort in the southwest to Blue Ridge Mountain Resort in La Crete, the Scotts have skied through a remarkable range of terrain and communities.

Their expedition is more than just a skiing challenge; it is part of a broader mission to inspire youth engagement and parent-mentor collaborations. Through their Tidbits of Change Foundation, Greg and Hali aim to encourage Canadian youth to develop unique community-focused projects alongside their mentors.

The tour has garnered significant social media attention, generating nearly two million interactions on Instagram. Their unique storytelling approach, including segments like 'Chairlift Chatter' featuring local ski legends, has captured the public's imagination and highlighted the rich skiing culture across Alberta.

Supported by sponsors including HEAD skis, Kal-Tire, Descente, Sundance Ski & Snowboard Shop, and Hummingbird Micro Homes, the expedition culminated at Mt. Norquay Ski Resort in Banff.
