Georgia Accounting Food Fight Raises $380,000 to Combat Hunger

The 2025 Georgia Accounting Food Fight concluded with remarkable success, raising $380,071.50—equivalent to nearly 1.5 million meals for Georgia's food banks. This annual fundraising campaign, now in its 12th year, represents a collaborative effort between Feeding Georgia and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, addressing critical food insecurity issues across the state.

Julie Kuykendall, Executive Director of Feeding Georgia, expressed gratitude for the accounting professionals' efforts, noting that many more families across Georgia will receive nourishing food as a result. The competition's timing is strategically aligned to restock food banks after the summer surge caused by the conclusion of school lunch assistance programs, ensuring continuous support for vulnerable populations.

Collins/Moody & Company earned the Grand Prize Food Fight Hero title by raising $2,100 with the most points per employee statewide, while Nichols, Cauley and Associates won the Grand Prize Hunger Champion by raising $61,140.67 with the most overall points.
