Mining exploration company Golden Cariboo Resources has announced continued success in its gold mineralization efforts at the Halo Zone within the Quesnelle Gold Quartz property in British Columbia. The current drill hole, QGQ24-21, has revealed multiple occurrences of visible gold within a complex geological formation, marking the ninth consecutive hole with such promising results since the initial zone discovery in July 2024.

The newly explored drill hole encountered gold mineralization in a distinctive geological environment characterized by a stockwork of quartz-carbonate-pyrite veins. These veins are embedded within an intensely altered greenstone package of intermediate to mafic volcanics, suggesting a potentially extensive and intricate mineral deposit. The mineralization is closely associated with shear zones, a geological feature often linked to significant mineral concentrations.

The drilling strategy employed by Golden Cariboo Resources demonstrates a methodical approach to mineral exploration. The current drill hole was strategically positioned with a specific azimuth and inclination to intersect various vein directions and lithological contacts at optimal angles. As of April 2025, the drill hole continues to probe depths, currently extending to 285.3 meters without yet reaching the lower boundary of the mineralized zone.
