Twenty-one-year-old Greek baritone Konstantinos Stafylides has been crowned the absolute winner of the International Voice Competition Boris Martinovich, earning a significant prize package including a role in Carmen and a year of vocal coaching.

Rising opera talent Konstantinos Stafylides has distinguished himself in the competitive world of classical vocal performance, emerging as the top winner in the Uni/Pre-professional division of the International Voice Competition Boris Martinovich.
The 21-year-old baritone from Thessaloniki, Greece, impressed an illustrious panel of international judges with his exceptional vocal technique and stage presence. Competition chairman Boris Martinovich praised Stafylides, declaring that he 'shadowed all the other competitors' and is a 'very talented and promising rising opera star'.
Stafylides' victory comes with significant professional opportunities, including a $1,000 USD first prize and a coveted role as Escamillo in the Clyde Opera Company's production of Carmen in Scotland this summer.
