ICR Appoints Edward Ruff to Lead Equity Capital Markets Division

ICR, a strategic communications and advisory firm, has appointed Edward Ruff as Head of Equity Capital Markets at ICR Capital, its broker-dealer affiliate. Ruff will oversee the equity capital markets team, which provides IPO, follow-on, and block advisory services to corporate, private equity, and venture capital clients. He joined ICR in June and brings over 15 years of experience in equity capital markets and investment banking, having led more than 150 transactions that raised over $100 billion in capital.

Tom Ryan, CEO, and Don Duffy, President of ICR, stated that Ruff's expertise and track record in executing complex transactions will benefit ICR clients, especially with the IPO and follow-on window reopening. They emphasized that ICR is well-positioned to advise private and public companies and their financial sponsors on accessing capital markets. Ruff's experience in advising management teams, boards, and private equity and venture capital firms on corporate transactions will support the growth of ICR's equity capital markets and convertible bond advisory services.

Ruff previously spent over a decade with Citigroup in ECM and investment banking roles and most recently served as Head of Equity Capital Markets at Cabrera Capital Markets.

Throughout his career, Ruff has led numerous IPOs, follow-on offerings, block trades, M&A financings, SPACs, PIPEs, and other capital markets transactions.
