Jennifer Kryshka Highlights the Importance of Philanthropy in Alzheimer’s Care

Jennifer Kryshka, with over 20 years of nonprofit leadership, now serves as the Director of Philanthropy at Alzheimer’s Community Care (ACC), focusing on raising awareness and financial support for dementia care services. Her role includes managing donor cultivation and the NextGen CARES initiative, aimed at engaging young professionals in philanthropy. Kryshka emphasizes that 85 cents of every dollar donated to ACC goes directly into services like adult day care and family navigation, crucial in a region with nearly 580,000 Floridians living with Alzheimer’s.

ACC is preparing for two major events to support its mission: the Season Kickoff Cocktail Reception on November 18, 2025, and the Hearts of Hope Luncheon on February 6, 2026. These events not only aim to raise funds but also to honor community leaders and build a supportive network for families facing dementia. Kryshka highlights ACC's unique, comprehensive approach to dementia care, which includes specialized services and a person-centered model.

Beyond financial donations, Kryshka encourages community involvement through volunteering and advocacy. For those interested in learning more or getting involved, information is available at https://alzcare.org.
