MobileX Launches Gold Network Offering Priority Access Options for Wireless Customers

MobileX announced the upcoming launch of the MobileX Gold Network, which will provide customers with new controls over their mobile experience through priority high-speed network access available exactly when needed. The Gold Network is designed to deliver faster speeds and lower latency during times of network congestion in busy areas, addressing a common frustration for mobile users in crowded locations.

Customers can choose Gold On Demand for a one-time high-speed boost at events like concerts or sporting events, or select Gold Unlimited or Gold Build Your Own for continuous monthly priority data access where they live, work or play. While most customers do not require priority data, MobileX recognizes that many experience network congestion in their daily lives, making this flexible approach particularly valuable for those needing reliable connectivity during peak usage times.

Peter Adderton, founder and CEO of MobileX, emphasized the consumer-focused approach, stating that for too long carriers have dictated how customers access performance on their networks. With the Gold Network, MobileX is putting that choice back in the customer's hands, allowing them to instantly upgrade to priority access when desired while relying on regular high-speed data for all other times.

The higher priority access helps connections perform better during peak network congestion, delivering smoother streaming, more reliable video chat, and a more responsive mobile experience overall. This capability is particularly important as mobile data usage continues to grow and network congestion becomes more frequent in urban areas and at large gatherings.

The Gold Network offers several pricing options including Gold On Demand at $2.10 per GB, Gold Unlimited 10 with 10GB of priority data for $19.88 monthly, Gold Unlimited 30 with 30GB for $29.88 monthly, and Gold Build Your Own with customized plans starting at $4.08 monthly for priority access. Regular high-speed data pricing has been reduced to $1.90 per GB from the previous $2.10 per GB, providing additional value to customers.

The MobileX Gold Network will be available via the MobileX app in XtraOptions beginning October 18. New customers can access the service by downloading the MobileX app from the Apple App Store and Google Play, or by purchasing a MobileX SIM starter pack at more than 3,700 Walmart stores and on Walmart.com.
