Mullen Automotive Secures $1.4 Million Electric Truck Order from Logistics Company

Mullen Automotive has secured a substantial order for 20 all-electric Class 3 trucks from Houston-based logistics company Cashflow on Wheels, marking a significant milestone in the commercial electric vehicle market. The order, valued at approximately $1.4 million, will be fulfilled by Mullen dealer Pritchard Automotive and represents a strategic shift towards electrification in the logistics industry.

Cashflow on Wheels, which provides services to major clients including FedEx and Amazon, cited compelling economic incentives as the primary motivation for transitioning to electric vehicles. The company anticipates cost savings of over $500 per route per week through EV deployment, demonstrating the potential financial benefits of electric truck adoption.

The order comes at a time when commercial transportation is increasingly exploring sustainable alternatives to traditional fossil fuel-powered vehicles. Mullen Automotive's Class 3 truck, the Mullen THREE, offers businesses an opportunity to reduce operational costs and carbon emissions simultaneously.

The vehicle's certification by the California Air Resource Board (CARB) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) adds credibility to its performance and reliability. Furthermore, the truck qualifies for substantial financial incentives, including up to $7,500 in federal EV tax credits and a potential $45,000 cash voucher through the CARB HVIP program.

Mullen's strategic expansion of its commercial dealer network, now comprising seven dealers across key U.S. markets, positions the company to support growing demand for electric commercial vehicles. The company's manufacturing facilities in Tunica, Mississippi, and Mishawaka, Indiana, provide robust infrastructure to support increasing production requirements.
