New Middle Grade Novel Uses Time Travel to Teach Children About Berlin Wall History and Totalitarianism

The Wandspringer, a new middle grade time travel novel, addresses the challenging task of explaining fascism and totalitarian regimes to children through an engaging adventure story set against the historical backdrop of the Berlin Wall. The novel follows young protagonist Ellie as she travels back in time to East Berlin to rescue her imprisoned father while simultaneously searching for a man who has come to the present to gather information about preventing the fall of the Berlin Wall.
