Nicola Mining Inc. has initiated a 2025 diamond drilling campaign at the New Craigmont Copper Project, utilizing AI to identify new targets and focusing on porphyry-style copper mineralization.

Nicola Mining Inc. (TSX.V: NIM) (FSE: HLIA) (OTCQB: HUSIF) has commenced its 2025 diamond drilling campaign at the New Craigmont Copper Project, located near Merritt, British Columbia. The program aims to drill 4,000–5,000 meters across five priority zones, including two new targets identified through a partnership with ALS Geoanalytics (GoldSpot Discoveries Ltd.), leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance exploration efforts. The campaign focuses on delineating porphyry-style copper mineralization and advancing exploration around key areas such as MARB, CAS, West Craigmont/WP, and the newly discovered Draken prospect.
With a budget of $1.5–2 million, the drilling program is scheduled to continue through September. It incorporates advanced data collection techniques, including pXRF and SWIR, to refine geological models and support future exploration strategies. This initiative represents a significant step forward in the exploration of the New Craigmont Copper Project, potentially unlocking new copper resources in a region adjacent to Canada's largest copper mine, Highland Valley Copper.
