Open Hand Atlanta Hosts 22nd Annual Party in the Kitchen Fundraiser to Support Nutrition Programs

Open Hand Atlanta is set to host its 22nd annual Party in the Kitchen fundraiser on Thursday, Sept. 25, at The Foundry at Puritan Mill, featuring an evening of culinary excellence to support its mission of building healthier communities through nutrition. The event, running from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m., will showcase tastings from celebrated chefs, craft cocktails, and live entertainment by The American Flyers, alongside live and silent auctions offering exclusive experiences.

Chefs Peter Kaiser and Kevin Rathbun return as co-chairs, joined by new event co-chairs Marc Castillo, Heather Froy, and Victor Macias, highlighting the culinary community's commitment to Open Hand's cause. Matthew Pieper, Open Hand CEO, expressed gratitude for the chefs' support, emphasizing how their contributions enable the delivery of thousands of nourishing meals to those most in need.

Attendees will enjoy signature dishes from chefs like Terry Koval of The Deer and The Dove and Pat Pascarella of The Porchetta Group, among others. A VIP Patron Reception on Aug. 21 offers an early opportunity for sponsors and patron-level guests to engage with the cause, featuring cocktails, light bites, and a preview of the impact their contributions make.

Proceeds from the event directly fund Open Hand's programs, providing medically tailored meals and nutrition education to individuals facing chronic illness, food insecurity, and social isolation across Georgia. Tickets for the Main Event are priced at $300, with the Patron Reception Package starting at $2,000, offering access to both events. For more details, visit https://OpenHandAtlanta.org/PITK.
