The Gyeonggi Business & Science Accelerator (GBSA) has initiated its 2025 Global Accelerating Program, selecting twelve promising startups to support their international market expansion. The orientation event, held at the Gyeonggi Startup Campus in Pangyo Techno Valley, showcased a diverse range of innovative companies poised to make significant technological contributions.

The selected startups represent cutting-edge technologies across various sectors, including artificial intelligence, medical robotics, and advanced skincare. Notably, companies like APLA, with its AI-driven 3D motion generation, Cure-in's automated breast biopsy robot system, and PITEN's immune regulation skincare research demonstrate the program's commitment to supporting high-potential technological innovations.

Program leadership emphasized the rigorous selection process and the comprehensive support structure designed to facilitate global market entry. Jun-Woo Lee, Head of GBSA, highlighted the program's evolution and the critical importance of international market expansion for emerging technological enterprises.

The initiative reflects Pangyo Techno Valley's strategic approach to fostering innovation and global competitiveness. As a leading innovation cluster, the technology hub has established itself as a critical driver of technological advancement, currently hosting 1,666 companies and employing 78,751 professionals with annual sales exceeding 167.7 trillion KRW.

Hojae Lee, CEO of Y&ARCHER, which oversees the Global Accelerating Program, noted increasing international interest in Korean startups, particularly in the United States and Europe. The twelve selected startups—including Cure-in, SOFT LANDERS, HOP, DEEPVELO, APLA, and others—will receive extensive support throughout the year, with a focused approach on achieving meaningful international market penetration and technological recognition.
