Renowned writer Qinyi Fu has joined the creative team of the anticipated short film 'When We Were', a project dedicated to illuminating the often-unspoken experiences of seniors in assisted living communities. Writer and director Leslie Bates, an alumna of the American Film Institute, will helm the production, leveraging her reputation for character-driven storytelling.
