The development was driven by a specific request from Point Guard Management, with the entire process from concept to launch completed in just 31 days, demonstrating PropUp's commitment to rapid innovation and customer-focused development. William Gottfried, CEO of PropUp, emphasized that the company builds solutions based on direct client needs, stating these enhancements allow users to increase inspection accuracy, streamline move-in and move-out processes, and protect against unreasonable disputes.

The HD video inspection feature allows users to capture unlimited high-definition videos directly within the mobile app workflow, documenting various scenarios including move-outs, preventative maintenance, asset tracking, and incident reports. This capability reduces inspection time from approximately 30 minutes to just 3 minutes while maintaining detail, and cuts technician go-backs by more than 50% by capturing diagnostic-level information during the initial inspection.

Simultaneously, the time-stamped photo feature automatically adds timing and date verification to all in-app photos, helping operators confirm inspection timing, reduce disputes, and differentiate between internal documentation and external uploads for enhanced transparency. These improvements are particularly valuable for high-volume inspections such as move-outs and move-ins, where capturing real-time detail that static photos might miss is crucial.
