Sabey Data Centers Expands Power Capacity Across Multiple Campuses to Meet Growing Digital Infrastructure Demand

Sabey Data Centers has announced substantial new power availability and expansion across several of its flagship campuses, responding to the growing demand for digital infrastructure in markets where vacancies are reaching record lows. The company is making 8 megawatts available immediately in the Pacific Northwest, with additional capacity scheduled to come online through 2027 across multiple strategic locations. This expansion represents a significant investment in meeting the accelerating needs of enterprise and hyperscale customers who require reliable, scalable data center solutions.

The specific capacity increases include SDC Columbia with 4.5 megawatts leasable now and 18 megawatts available for pre-leasing, with the first 9 megawatts coming online in Q4 2026 and the second 9 megawatts following in 2027. SDC Seattle offers 3.5 megawatts available immediately and 12 megawatts available for pre-leasing, scheduled for activation in 2027. The Manhattan campus provides 755 kilowatts leasable currently, while SDC Ashburn has 14 megawatts available for pre-leasing with activation expected by Q3 2026. The Austin location features 18 megawatts available for pre-leasing, with the first 9 megawatts coming online by Q4 2027, and SDC Umatilla offers a substantial 120 megawatts available for pre-leasing, with the initial 12 megawatts scheduled for 2027 activation.

Tim Mirick, President of Sabey Data Centers, emphasized the company's commitment to providing flexible, accessible power and space across their national portfolio. The strategic expansion across locations from Manhattan to Texas to the Pacific Northwest ensures customers have secure, sustainable options for both immediate requirements and long-term growth strategies. This approach addresses the critical need for reliable capacity in markets experiencing unprecedented demand for digital infrastructure services.

The timing of these expansions is particularly significant given the current market conditions where data center vacancies continue to decline nationwide. By combining scalable growth capabilities with renewable energy sourcing and decades of operational expertise, Sabey demonstrates its preparedness to support the next wave of technological innovation and digital transformation.
