Safe Pro Group Inc. has successfully integrated its AI object detection technology into U.S. Army reconnaissance drones, enhancing explosive threat detection and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities.

Safe Pro Group Inc. (NASDAQ: SPAI) has announced the integration of its patented AI object detection models into drone platforms selected for the U.S. Army’s Short Range Reconnaissance Program of Record. This development aims to significantly improve the detection of explosive threats and enhance ISR capabilities. The technology, which has been battle-tested in Ukraine, is capable of rapidly identifying over 150 types of threats and is designed to be scalable across both real-time and cloud-based platforms.
The company is currently engaging with Department of Defense (DoD) stakeholders and is in the process of integrating its SPOTD system into the ATAK ecosystem. This integration is expected to support large-scale force protection efforts, especially in light of the increased defense spending authorized by the OBBBA. The use of AI in drone technology represents a significant advancement in military operations, offering a safer and more efficient alternative to traditional human-based analysis methods.
Safe Pro Group’s technology is built on a cloud-based ecosystem powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), targeting various markets including commercial, government, law enforcement, and humanitarian sectors. The integration of AI into military drones underscores the growing importance of artificial intelligence in enhancing national security and operational efficiency.
