Shincheonji Taekwondo Team Achieves Medal Sweep at International Competition

The Shincheonji Taekwondo team, representing the Shincheonji Church of Jesus, achieved a clean sweep at the '2025 Park Jung-hee Cup International Open Taekwondo Championships,' with all team members securing medals. This event, featuring over 4,200 athletes from 18 countries, showcased the team's dedication and skill, earning them 4 gold, 7 silver, and 14 bronze medals in the individual recognized poomsae category.

The competition, held in Sangju, South Korea, not only tested the athletes' abilities across various Taekwondo disciplines but also served as a platform for cultural diplomacy, enhancing Korea's global standing in the sport. Gold medalist Lee Jun-wi attributed their success to focused training and perseverance, despite the limited preparation time.
