ToolsGroup and partner THellas have implemented SO99+ software for SLF Greece, automating their omnichannel supply chain planning and shifting to a demand-driven model. This transformation optimizes inventory management and forecasting for KIKO MILANO products across multiple countries.

In a significant move towards supply chain optimization, SLF Greece, a distributor of KIKO MILANO products, has successfully implemented ToolsGroup's SO99+ software to transform its supply chain operations. The collaboration between ToolsGroup and its Greek partner, THellas, marks a pivotal shift from a supply-driven to a demand-driven model for SLF, streamlining operations across Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Romania.
The implementation of SO99+ software enables SLF to manage daily forecasting, inventory optimization, and replenishment for approximately 2,500 active items across more than 30 retail stores and two distribution centers. This advanced system covers SLF's extensive network in Greece and Cyprus, with plans for expansion into Bulgaria and Romania. Two central planners now efficiently manage demand across various sales channels, including physical stores and online sales, generating optimal inventory and purchasing proposals.
Tilemachos Stylianos, Chief Development Officer of Fais Group, emphasized the strategic importance of this implementation, stating, "ToolsGroup's global leadership and local presence in Greece made SO99+ the clear choice for our advanced supply chain needs." The successful go-live has reinforced SLF's confidence in the solution's ability to significantly enhance their supply chain performance.
The transformation project, led by THellas, has resulted in a highly automated, demand-driven planning process for SLF. It has increased visibility and optimized inventory levels throughout the network. THellas customized SO99+ to provide systems integration and tailored capabilities, including assortment plans and minimum presentation quantities at the location-couvet level. The implementation supports the creation of ideal inventory targets, using SO99+ modeling to demonstrate financial optimization opportunities.
Goldie Panovlepi, General Manager at SLF, highlighted the system's revolutionary impact on their operations. "The system has automated daily store replenishment plans for Greece and Cyprus, while generating purchase recommendations for our team," Panovlepi noted. The success of SO99+ has motivated SLF to expand its use to other operating countries, underlining its effectiveness and user-friendly nature.
The collaboration between SLF and THellas during the implementation process was particularly noteworthy. THellas provided crucial insights on optimizing the system's setup and seamlessly integrating it with SLF's existing ERP. This partnership has been instrumental in achieving a smooth transition to the new planning system.
Stathis Nikolakopoulos, Managing Director at THellas, expressed pride in the successful implementation, stating, "Modeling complex business environments and optimizing millions of daily planning decisions is challenging, requiring expertise and advanced tools. We're proud of our success and excited to deepen our partnership with Fais Group, driving even better results for their customers."
The success of this project extends beyond SLF, demonstrating the potential of ToolsGroup's solutions in transforming supply chain planning for retailers facing complex challenges. Mauro Adorno, VP Global Alliances and Indirect Sales at ToolsGroup, emphasized this point, saying, "This project demonstrates how ToolsGroup's solutions, combined with local expertise provided by our partner THellas, can deliver significant value to retailers facing complex supply chain challenges."
As the retail landscape continues to evolve, the implementation of advanced supply chain solutions like SO99+ becomes increasingly crucial. For SLF Greece and the broader Fais Group, this transformation represents a significant step towards enhanced efficiency, improved customer service, and optimized inventory management. The success of this project may serve as a model for other retailers looking to navigate the complexities of modern supply chain management.
