Troubadour Resources Conducts Follow-up IP Survey to Refine Gold Exploration Strategy in Val d'Or District

Troubadour Resources is advancing its exploration strategy at the Senneville Gold-Silver-Copper Project by completing a follow-up induced polarization (IP) survey to address data gaps and identify potential gold mineralization zones ahead of its first drilling campaign.

The 3,000-meter survey, conducted across five parallel lines by Geophysique TMC, aims to refine exploration targets in the eastern Val d'Or district. The survey builds upon previous geophysical and geological work that revealed promising gold and silver potential in the region.

Initial surveys completed in November 2024 identified two unexplored zones with favorable characteristics for gold mineralization. These areas, located along the hanging wall and footwall contacts of the Senneville Komatiite, have not previously been targeted by diamond drilling.

Preliminary data suggests significant potential, with historical drilling revealing high-grade gold intercepts ranging from 1.4 g/t to 18.75 g/t Au in the Gustav Cere gold showing. The property's strategic location near Probe Gold's properties, which host a combined resource of 6.7 million ounces of measured and indicated gold, further enhances its exploration potential.

CEO Chris Huggins emphasized the company's innovative approach, stating that Troubadour is looking beyond previously explored areas to uncover new discovery opportunities. The upcoming spring 2025 diamond drill program will test these newly identified zones, potentially expanding the understanding of the area's mineral resources.

The Senneville property, comprising 255 mineral claims covering over 12,000 hectares, is prospective for both orogenic gold and polymetallic VMS-style mineralization. Previous exploration has revealed promising geochemical anomalies, including a 10-meter wide quartz vein with significant silver concentrations.

Geologic characteristics, including quartz and quartz-carbonate veins with tourmaline, bear similarities to neighboring gold-bearing deposits. The presence of disseminated to stringer pyrite surrounding gold-bearing veins further supports the project's potential for significant mineral discoveries.

This strategic survey represents a critical step in Troubadour Resources' methodical approach to exploring the Val d'Or district, leveraging advanced geophysical techniques to identify and prioritize drilling targets with high potential for gold mineralization.
