Ucore Rare Metals Inc. Advances $18.4M Phase 2 DoD-Funded Rare Earth Facility in Louisiana

Ucore Rare Metals Inc. (TSXV: UCU) (OTCQX: UURAF) has officially commenced its USD$18.4 million Phase 2 Award from the U.S. Department of Defense, earmarked for the construction of its inaugural commercial-scale RapidSX(TM) rare earth processing unit in Louisiana. This initiative is centered on heavy rare earth elements (HREEs), which are crucial for defense applications and advanced technological innovations. Alongside a USD$4 million Phase 1 Award, Ucore has recently met significant separation benchmarks and has already been allocated over $3.35 million. The company is currently focused on achieving imminent objectives, such as finalizing facility and column designs, with the goal of initiating early production of marketable rare earth products.
