UGI Utilities Announces System Upgrades in Hellertown to Enhance Service Reliability

UGI Utilities has announced a significant infrastructure upgrade project in Hellertown, set to begin the week of June 9, 2025. The project will primarily affect Easton Road and Ringhoffer Road, with varying degrees of traffic disruptions expected. Easton Road will see lane closures and full road closures at different times, while Ringhoffer Road will be closed 24/7 between Easton Road and Sherry Hill Road for the duration of the work. These disruptions are necessary to allow for the safe completion of underground work, which is anticipated to finish by the end of October for Easton Road and by the end of June for Ringhoffer Road.

Residents and businesses in the affected areas should prepare for some interruptions to natural gas service, as UGI will need access to properties to inspect and relight equipment. The company has assured that all efforts will be made to minimize inconvenience during this period.
