Younce, Vtipil, Baznik & Banks, P.A. Announces 2025 Scholarship Winners

The annual scholarship program by Younce, Vtipil, Baznik & Banks, P.A. has once again highlighted the firm's commitment to supporting education and fostering future leaders. This year, the firm awarded $3,000 in scholarships to two deserving students from North Carolina, Jayceon Norris and Dixie Huffman, based on their insightful essays on the meaning of justice and their plans to contribute to a more just society.

Jayceon Norris, the first-place winner, received a $2,000 scholarship. A graduate of North Pitt High School and a first-generation college student, Norris has shown a deep commitment to mental health advocacy and aims to pursue a career in psychology. His essay reflected his personal experiences and his desire to make a difference in the lives of others through volunteer work and entrepreneurship.

Dixie Huffman, awarded the second-place $1,000 scholarship, is a graduate of Fred T Foard High School and plans to study Political Science and Philosophy at the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs. Huffman's essay articulated her passion for law and policy reform, with a focus on juvenile justice, mental health, and educational equity. Her aspirations to become an attorney and advocate for the overlooked segments of society underscore the potential impact of her future work.
