TEXSAR Hosts 10th Annual Search Party to Support Life-Saving Rescue Efforts across Texas

Texas Search and Rescue (TEXSAR) is gearing up for its 10th annual Search Party, set to take place on September 20th at the Renaissance Hotel in Austin. The event serves as a vital avenue for raising funds to ensure TEXSAR team members are well-equipped, specially trained, and ready to respond effectively to emergencies and disasters across the Lone Star State.

Founded in 2004, TEXSAR is a volunteer-based organization dedicated to providing specialized emergency services at no cost. Over the years, the organization has established itself as a key player in the realm of emergency response and disaster relief in Texas.

Jonathan McComb, a dedicated TEXSAR member, highlighted the critical importance of the upcoming Search Party, this year more than ever. "TEXSAR is a diverse search and rescue organization. The life-saving services provided are critical each and every day, but this year, in the aftermath of the recent Hill Country floods, the mission is as imperative as ever, and the need is great. As a first responder team made up of volunteers, the support from the Search Party is critical to the continued success of the mission and ultimately the impact being made for the state of Texas."
