Wooten Center Hosts Inaugural John Lapham Golf Classic Supporting LA Youth Education Programs
Since 2000, the Wooten Center’s golf tournament has supported youth education and community growth. This year, it is renamed the John Lapham Golf Classic in honor of a longtime supporter. The event on November 17 features golf, dinner, contests and a silent auction to promote hope and opportunity for Los Angeles youth.

The Al Wooten Jr. Youth Center, AKA the Wooten Center, an organization offering after-school programs for youth in Los Angeles, proudly announces its first-ever John Lapham Golf Classic, honoring the legacy of its long-time board member and chairperson, John G. Lapham III. The fundraising event, formerly known as the Wooten Golf Classic, has been renamed this year to celebrate John’s contributions and to continue its mission of supporting youth college and career readiness. The inaugural John Lapham Golf Classic will take place on Monday, November 17, at the Porter Valley Country Club in Northridge, California.

Event Details
The event supports vital college and career readiness programs serving thousands of youth at the Wooten Center. Attendees will enjoy a full day of golf, a putting contest, lunch on the course and a silent auction with an awards dinner beginning at 5 p.m.

Sponsorship opportunities are available at several levels, which include signage and foursomes. To participate, sponsors can register via the online RSVP form or review sponsorship details at the event website.

- Sapphire: $50,000 (4 foursomes)
- Diamond: $25,000 (4 foursomes)
- Platinum: $10,000 (4 foursomes)
- Gold: $5,000 (3 foursomes)
- Silver: $2,500 (2 foursomes)
- Bronze: $1,500 (1 foursome)
